This one-of-a-kind calligraphic painting comes from one of my 4 × 3" artist books. It is the right side of the 98th page spread (out of 100) created in 2023.

This piece was included in two juried exhibitions: Driven to Abstraction at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts in Sebastopol, California, and Strictly Abstract, an online exhibition through the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts. The latter was juried by renowned gallerist Anthony Meier—out of more than 700 entries, only 37 works were selected. I am deeply honored to have been included in both shows.

Using strong calligraphic marks and shapes, along with ink, watercolor, pastels, and gold leaf, this miniature painting delivers a powerful, expansive presence. See all manuscript pages for sale here.
